This Senior Patient Experience Representative will be responsible for:
Working as the admin support for the Gender Management and Be-U (Behavioral Medicine, Endocrinology and Urology) Mutli-disciplinary Programs.. This position will be logged into phones all day. This position will be working with psychologists, social workers, trainees, nurses, urologists, and endocrinologists.
Monitoring clinic activity to ensure the best possible patient experience. Assisting with resolving customer service and scheduling issues.
Providing Administrative support to the Department and its providers.
Coordinating work around injectable medication, Disability and Diagnostic Test reconciliation.
Answering telephone calls relevant to the position.
Scheduling and maintaining calendars and all aspects of administrative support.
Maintaining inventory of injectable medication.
Obtaining prior authorizations and insurance verification.
Performing routine clerical duties, such as sorting mail and faxes, photocopying materials and distributing documents. Responding to requests for routine information or assistance within scope of knowledge and authority.
Participating in and contributing to departmental and organizational initiatives & projects with a focus on continuous process improvement.
Recommending and assisting when implementing change in internal systems and procedures
To qualify, you must have:
A high school diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum 1 year of healthcare administrative experience.
The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
The ability to multi task and work in a high volume setting and prioritize competing demands.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
