Detailed Job Description PLEASE NOTE: This is a one-year, temporary position
Create proper documentation and demonstration of solutions by use of flowcharts, charts, diagrams, documents (both physical and electronic), layouts and code comments
Produce specifications and integrate software components into a fully functional software system
Track progress in various projects to ensure quality deliverables are met in a timely fashion
Collaborate with team to brainstorm and create new products, deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
Engage in continuing education and training by studying cutting edge development tools, computer equipment and programming techniques
Recommend necessary improvements to procedures and policies with the goal of upgrading operations within CAT
Mentor software engineers (students) with decision making, mentorship and educational opportunities
Ensure all project and company information remains confidential throughout every step of the process.

Required Minimum Qualifications REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
One year of experience with API integration (REST, GraphQL, etc.) and cloud computing (Google Firebase, AWS, etc.)One year of experience writing unit tests.
One year of experience with Agile development
Front-end experience using React, TypeScript, Jest/Enzyme, GatsbyJS, GraphQL, Bootstrap, and Styled Components.
Experience designing and implementing a database schema (relational or NoSQL).
Experience building and deploying Docker containers to the cloud.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills and strong attention to details.
Ability to problem-solve and implement solutions.
Command of standard development lifecycle (SDLC)
A winning attitude, self-motivated, personally accountable and determined team player, able to accept direction.
Awareness of risk management and mitigation techniques.
Preferred: Ability to communicate with wide range of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals.
