The Department of Orthopaedics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure track Clinician-Educator at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor. Responsibilities include enhancing the research mission and productivity of the Total Joint Replacement & Adult Reconstruction Surgery Division. Applicants should have or seek additional education in clinical investigation. In addition, the applicant will work with the Chairman and Program Director to assess the educational needs of the residency training program and make edits when necessary to not only the didactic program, but also the research infrastructure. The applicant will assist with the mentorship of the resident and fellowship trainees in their clinical and research endeavors. She or he will interact with other Departments in collaborative research teams located on the Downtown Campus. We are interested in candidates who are fellowship trained, graduates of an ACGME approved Orthopaedic surgery residency, with an interest in hip and joint.
Qualified candidates must be Board Certified/Eligible and eligible for an unrestricted Illinois Medical License. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled.
