Assist with fiscal operations of the county Extension office, including the maintenance and reconciliation of appropriate and non- appropriated funds; receive and generate receipt and payments; maintain inventories of publications and office supplies; maintain the county website and social media communications; provide clerical support for program staff using the most current Microsoft applications; provide support for Extension Educators and program staff, as well as front line customer service to clientele; perform various front office duties; provide technical assistance to Educators/program staff, including creating newsletters, memo, report, and other correspondence; maintain files and records; operate general office equipment; assist with other aspects as needed.

Six months of experience (600 hours of training) using computers to generate a variety of materials ranging from basic to complex; six months of experience (600 hours of course work) in office practices and procedures; six months of experience (600 hours of course work) in customer service.
Previous work experience in an office setting or equivalent; good computer skills including word processing skills; accounting experience/knowledge; ability to work independently as well as a member of a team; good communication skills; ability to multitask. Successful candidate will be required to submit a fingerprint/background report before start date.
