Physics lecture demonstrations are a meaningful way to help students concretely visualize the material under discussion.
The main criteria for the Lecture Enhancement Coordinator are to design, build, organize, maintain, and publicize these teaching aids - a complex task requiring a thorough knowledge of physics, strong organizational abilities, hands-on electrical and mechanical skills, and an ability to interact creatively and constructively with students and faculty. The position will also be responsible for managing work-study students and assisting the Undergraduate Lab Manager, as needed.

Bachelor's Degree required, Degree in Physics preferred
Must have a through knowledge and understanding of Physics
