Doctoral Student in the Clinical Adolescent Psychology program in the Psychology Department at PVAMU.
Graduate Research Assistant will assist on Research Projects with faculty members.
Provide assistance with collecting data
Assist with report writing
Data analysis on Research
Position will be required to work 20 hours a week
Must not work outside of their Graduate Research Assistantship
Continuing full-time enrollment (9 hours)
Doctoral Grade Point Average above “B”
Satisfactory evaluation by the supervising professor
Satisfactory progress evaluation by the Doctoral Committee
Indication of professional potential
Participation in monthly Brown Bag, sponsored by the Texas Juvenile Crime Prevention Center
Participation in the yearly college research symposium
Required Education and Experience:
Required to be a student in the Doctorate Program in Juvenile Justice at PVAMU.
Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
Must be enrolled as a full time full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours)
Must be in good academic standing
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Ability to effectively unitize the following Microsoft suite program. word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
