The Patient Financial Services Quality Control representative is responsible for providing day-to-day direct supervision of electronic transmittals. This position will assist in establishing goals and objectives for monitoring work inventory and adjust needs for department as appropriate; manage reporting and work queues to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion; and utilize various reports to track PFS metrics. This role will also maintain compliance with HIPAA, FDCPA, and other legal requirements; create and maintain a positive work environment; and ensure organizational goals are met.
This is a telecommuting position that may require occasional on-site trainings, etc. at the UKHC Alumni Park Plaza campus in Lexington, KY.
The ideal candidate will have previous reporting experience; be customer service oriented; possess in-depth HIPAA knowledge; have the ability to lead and direct others toward goal setting and attainment, taking into account divergent demands while managing scope and timelines; be well organized with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail; proficient in Microsoft Office, to include Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); solid time management, critical thinking, follow-through, and planning and organizational skills are all critical to the success in this position; and a thorough understanding of resource and reporting management. A high level of respect for confidentiality is a must.
