We seek a highly motivated faculty member to teach courses in the department's General Education Program, to begin January 1, 2021, pending availability of funds.
The successful candidate's primary duties will be to teach four sections of Communication Studies courses (some combination of Fundamentals of Communication Studies, Public Speaking, and/or Argumentation and Debate). In addition, the successful candidate will support the department through a non-instructional assignment (e.g., assisting with the department's speech and debate team; alumni coordinator; undergraduate advisor; webmaster).
This position is renewable and is non-tenure-track with benefits. Lecturers at ETSU are eligible for promotion to Senior Lecturer and Master Lecturer, in accordance with ETSU's promotion policy.
Position is contingent upon sufficient funding.
