Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for the School of Health Professions within the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions. The Temporary Research Assistant will assist the faculty member in the conduct of the faculty member’s program of original empirical research. Among the key duties for this position are the following:
Responsible for providing research activities support to the faculty member.
Secures informed consent for participant study participation.
Conducts data collection, computer entry and tracking of the data.
Assists in statistical analysis.
Performs various types of record keeping.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree preferred in a Mental Health related field.
Current enrollment in a Psychology, Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation Counseling and Social Work graduate program preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Sufficient keyboard and spreadsheet skills with widely used programs as Excel, SPSS and Word.
Research experience preferred.
