Goucher College's Electrical Maintenance Engineer will maintain, trouble shoot and repair complex electrical systems such as fire alarms, electronically controlled lighting systems and handicap operating doors in campus buildings. This position will survey projects and repairs and develop plans to accomplish work as required and report to MEP Supervisor. They will respond to daily maintenance issues and emergencies as they arise. This position will assist contractors and develop scopes of work for project installations. They will also serve as a core essential employee.
Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or Equivalency. They will possess a Journeyman Electrical License. They will have 3 years' experience in the Electrical field.
Preferred candidates will have a Masters License. They will have more than 3 years' experience in the Electrical Field, preferably in a Higher Education setting.
