Radiography Program, Division of Nursing & Health Sciences
Position Summary/Job Description
The Instructor – Tenure Track is a full-time position that will be responsible for successfully performing professional instructional duties within the Radiography program.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education; Master’s Degree is preferred.
Holds American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification or equivalent and active registration in diagnostic radiography.
Shall possess a current New Jersey & New York State diagnostic radiography license.
Plan long and short-range objectives for each course in accordance to JRCERT guidelines and ASRT curriculum.
Knowledgeable of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising
Proficient in supervision, instruction, and evaluation of students.
Travel to the college for classroom instruction and to each clinical facility during the week.
Experience teaching students in the clinical setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Two years of college-level teaching experience, preferably at the community college level.
Demonstrate the ability to provide diverse teaching methods to different learning styles.
Demonstrate the ability to teach students from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
