Maysville Community and Technical College is currently accepting applications for the following ten month, term contract position on the Rowan Campus:
Carpentry Instructor/Construction Skills
Provides instruction to students in both theory and practice of Construction Technology/Carpentry. Prepares lesson plans and maintains records and reports on student attainment and progress. Participates in professional development activities to improve teaching skills and technical expertise in the area taught. Provides follow-up services to assist in student placement and promote public relations. Serves on committees as required, keeps regular posted office hours, and undertakes other assignments as directed by supervisor. May be required to teach evening or weekend classes as needed.
Qualifications: 5-6 years' experience in the Construction/Carpentry field. Associate's degree or Diploma preferred.
*Relevant and appropriate licensure requirements of the occupation preferred.
