Monitor and perform work required to support faculty activities.
1. Provide support for faculty including but not limited to: (35%)
Maintain the records and coordinate follow up on business for assigned committees.
Prepare correspondence, reports, and other materials on behalf of faculty for review and final signature.
Develop manuscript and presentation materials for faculty.
Manage all aspects of communications.
Order optical scanning answer sheets and deliver and pick-up answer sheets from optical scanning center on north campus.
Deliver mail to faculty mailboxes.
2. Assist with development of course materials and activities, including but not limited to: (30%)
Submit book orders.
Prepare syllabi and other course materials.
Prepare exams, including multiple versions of same exam, and other evaluation materials.
Create proctor test schedule for ATI and final exams
Make arrangements for guest lecturers and course speakers.
3. Assist faculty with projects and reports: (20%)
Gather, organize and summarize accurate information as requested by supervisor, administrators, faculty or staff
Develop, update and maintain course, committee, and other related academic program documents using Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams.
Create/modify databases to store, extract and report data in an aggregate report.
Provide support for all activities associated with ongoing projects including, but not limited to, pre-CONFAS gatherings, the UMSL-BJC nurse externship program, DNP Intensives, and PhD Reflection Day.
Collect, input, and maintain graduate residency data for the DNP Program Director
4. Supervise and assign work to student workers in the area: (10%)
5. Serve as liaison between CON faculty/staff and other campus departments, such as: (5%)
Answer CON phone and route calls to appropriate person(s).
Greet/provide information and assistance to CON visitors, faculty, staff and students
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least two years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
