The graduate business programs academic advisor in the College of Business and Technology assists current and prospective graduate business students in managing their enrollment in and academic progression through a graduate-level business program. The advisor serves as a primary communication pathway for getting information regarding graduate business programs (MBA, MSDM, MAcc) to prospective students in a way that encourages them to attend. He/she promotes and facilitates graduate business program student enrollment and persistence to completion. He/she supports the work of the graduate business program coordinators/directors, allowing them to focus on curriculum development, program strategic execution, and other priorities The advisor is responsible for keeping thorough academic advisement records, participating in on- and off-campus recruiting activities, participating in regularly scheduled orientation and advisement sessions, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Position is contingent upon sufficient funding.
The Fair Labor Standards Act status of exempt or non-exempt will depend on the incumbent's entry salary for this position.
