Job Summary: The Resident Aide provides direct care to residents in Capstone Village, primarily for their activities of daily living, assistance with therapeutic activities programs, restorative programs and documentation as required by the facility.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and one (1) year of healthcare work experience. Must complete dementia training within 5 days of employment.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Final candidates who are not current University of Alabama employees must submit to and successfully pass a post offer drug screen.
Preferred Qualifications: CPR. DETA Training
