OHSU Dermatology is located in the Center for Health & Healing on the South Waterfront in Portland, Oregon. The Department of Dermatology is dedicated to providing our patients the best and most innovative dermatologic care for the broad range of skin, hair, nail, and mucous membrane disorders.
This position is the single point of contact between the OHSU Institutional Review Board (IRB), new study start-up CRO teams, and the Department of Dermatology. This position will focus on project management, study milestones, and enrollment tracking. Duties include:
Establishing and maintaining all records for active clinical studies
Designing and coordinating submissions to local and central IRBs
Acting as a liaison between clinical trials sponsors, CROs, and Principal Investigators
Maintaining required forms and re-designing as necessary
Entering budget schedules and coverage analysis into the OHSU internal electronic system, eCRIS
Designing investigator and staff trainings
Additional duties may be assigned by clinical studies investigators or by the manager
Bachelor's Degree with major courses in field of research and 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work with people in smaller spaces
Strong organizational skills and creativity, including the ability to effectively triage information needs
Competence in computer work (both PC and Mac) with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
1 to 3 years experience in clinical research and/or regulatory coordination
Project management, training, and/or administrative work experience
Experience with internal OHSU electronic systems (eIRB, eCRIS)
CCRP or CCRA certificate
