Research Support - Laboratory/Non-Laboratory, Staff/Administrative
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a motivated Temporary Research Assistant for the Department of Anesthesiology within the New Jersey Medical School.
Under direction of the Principal Investigator (PI)/lab member supervision, the candidate will assist other lab members in various research related to mu opioid mechanisms and development of novel pain relief therapies.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Assists with various research and technical operations relative to chronic pain studies.
As requested, assists in new programs and/or projects in special areas of interest to the laboratory.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in relevant science.
Basic background in relevant science.
Ability to read, speak, and write English.
Prior lab experience a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
PHYSICALDEMANDS: Light lifting.
