Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Program Administrator for Institutional Planning and Operations-Strategic Services. Reporting to the Director, IWMS (Integrated Work Management System) Administration, the Senior Program Administrator is primarily responsible for organizing, managing, and updating the collection of data within the IWMS. The position incumbent works independently to align the IWMS database with the workflows, business needs, and requirements of all functional areas of Institutional Planning and Operations (IP&O, the largest administrative unit at Rutgers University with approximately 3,000 employees across all campuses, state-wide.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Manages all IWMS data sources supporting operational and strategic functions to ensure that the database provides accurate and reliable information that is easily accessible for reporting and other needs.
Adheres to all policies and procedures governing the use of the IWMS while providing and delivering high quality IWMS user support to enhance the usefulness of the database and the effectiveness of the workforce.
Ensures that all Integrated Work Management System (IWMS) data is maintained for maximum results and performance to support the business processes, needs, and requirements of the division.
Organizes, maintains, and updates all IWMS data as per all business process and system requirements.
Manages all front-end application tasks for all current and future IWMS components.
Manages all IWMS data sources and provide coordination to ensure support of all daily and strategic business processes for all functional units of IP&O.
Maintains an effective data organization structure to ensure data integrity, data literacy, and data quality.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of (5) years of experience in data management and user support.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands; a valid driver's license would be required for this position.
Proficiency in an Integrated Work Management system.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Travel to and from the Camden, Newark, and New Brunswick campus might be required.
