Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance and Administration, the Director for Venue Rental's responsibilities include the following:
Generate and increase rental business and revenue by marketing and planning events on and in campus facilities.
Develop and implement standardized campus-wide rental polices in conjunction with Account Managers and Campus Service Providers.
Supervise account managers and coordinator of Venue Rental department.
Determine rates and pricing structure for the use of all campus venues and related services.
Negotiate, prepare and administer all location and rental contracts for clients.
Adhere to and assure compliance with all CUNY and College polices governing use of space and rental of facilities.
Review all rental contracts from athletics, ACSM, and GTM prior to approval by Administration.
Determine budgetary projections and make appropriate decisions.
Create and design Marketing materials for all campus rental facilities, including brochures and social media marketing.
Develop and cultivate relationships with rental and film location clients.
Develop strategies for Community outreach to increase rentals.
Manage logistics with all campus services that are needed during rentals.
Bachelor's Degree and eight years' relevant experience required.

Oversees facilities, technology, and materials utilized in the department, coordinating with appropriate Campus services.
Works with other Campus or University units to coordinate and plan fund-raising, grants, marketing, communications, and outreach activities.
Independently carries out a portfolio of responsibilities under the department's purview, such as managing committees, securing approvals, and providing communications.
Performs related duties as assigned.
