Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Medical/Certified Nursing Assistant II is to assist the registered nurse with scheduled appointments in providing treatment for patients as needed.
The Medical/Certified Nursing Assistant II will be responsible for:
Performing vital signs.
Documentation of why the student has an appointment to see a clinician.
Assist back hall nurses with the workflow of student appointments and maintaining the cleanliness of exam rooms.
Comply with OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration), (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments) and exposure Plan for Bloodborne Pathogens as identified by the Mary S. Shook Student Health.
Other related duties.
Graduation from high school and possession of a Nursing Assistant II license or equivalent.
