A postdoctoral research associate or more senior research position is available in the group of Professor Christos Maravelias in the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University. The position is in the general area of process operations/optimization. The goal of the project is to develop advanced optimization methods and software tools for complex large-scale production scheduling problems. The successful candidate is expected to have an advanced knowledge of mixed-integer linear programming methods. The candidate will hold a PhD degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or Computer Science. Experience with modeling languages and scientific computing are required. Previous experience with production scheduling is preferred but not required.
