Full-time, Visiting Professor of Actuarial Science & Risk Management, with an anticipated start date of January 25 or August 24, 2021.
The duties of this position include teaching a range of courses supporting the School of Actuarial Science & Risk Management (SoASRM), including courses related to actuarial science, insurance, and finance. We are looking for a candidate with an existing research record, as well as clear evidence that the candidate will continue to publish in actuarial journals.
Successful candidates will present evidence of teaching excellence. The candidate will also be expected to participate in service activities for the university, college, program, and profession. Service related to the SoASRM may include advising students and student organizations, developing curricula, and outreach to the local insurance community.

An earned Doctorate degree in actuarial science is preferred and closely related fields will be considered from an accredited university. Those near completion (ABD) will be considered with a requirement of degree completion within one year of appointment.
Relevant actuarial credentials (e.g., ACAS, ASA, FCAS, FSA) are preferred, but not essential. Casualty credentials are welcome.
