Assistant Professor of Cognitive Psychology: Drake University invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning in August, 2021. A Ph.D. in cognitive psychology or related field is required prior to the starting date. Candidates must be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching and advancing an independent research program. Scholarship involving human participants is preferred. Teaching assignments include introductory psychology, sensation & perception, cognitive psychology, and courses within the candidate’s area of expertise. Interest in teaching research methods or statistics is desirable. The teaching load is 3-3. Additionally, the candidate is expected to supervise student research. The department has approximately 225 undergraduate majors in psychology and neuroscience. The University also offers opportunities for engaging in interdisciplinary teaching at the undergraduate level.
