Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking Program Administrators for the Department of Community Affairs at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The Program Administrator will serve the New Jersey Project ECHO program with responsibility for managing the operations (personnel, processes and programs) of the Project ECHO weekly clinics through the Core Team and the interdisciplinary Hub specialist team.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Manages the Core Team of personnel responsible for IT/End user support, administrative support for the clinic participants (Hub Specialists and providers) and research & evaluation activities.
Serves as a primary point of contact for the Hub Leads & Medical Director who are responsible for the Project ECHO Clinic curriculum and tele-mentoring activities during the Project ECHO Clinic sessions and assists with the development and on-going quality improvement of ECHO documentation and educational curriculum/materials.
Assists with development of tracking and evaluation programs to assist in the accomplishment of established project goals and objectives.
Acts as the primacy point of contact with the University of New Mexico ECHO Operations for issues related to design and replication of ECHO Clinics, which includes training and on-going communications.
Demonstrates the awareness of safety, security, life safety, preparedness and utility and equipment management policies competencies; Adheres to Standard Precautions.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Administration, or a related field plus five (5) years of professional experience in healthcare administration.
Equivalent education, experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have understanding of basic accounting procedures to ensure proper control of assigned budgetary responsibilities.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Master's Degree in healthcare administration or MBA.
