USC Department of Radiology is seeking to hire a Senior Accounting Financial Manager to join its team. Â The financial manager will be responsible for financial planning, financial reporting, budget/forecasting, financial analysis, data analysis, problem solving, partnering with management and developing recommendations to drive financial performance and assisting senior leadership to meet strategic goals and objectives for future business growth. Â Produces regular and ad-hoc financial and operating reports. Â Evaluates and analyzes reports and data. Develops conclusions and recommendations and communicates orally or in writing to management. The financial manager will also be expected to motivate and to empower a team of analysts to achieve the goals and objectives of the department so the department remains financially solvent as we;; as be hands on with compiling billing data for MARS & SAIL.
Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree, CPA or Masters
Preferred Field of Expertise: Experience with University financial policies, procedures and systems. Experience managing staff and operations in multiple financial departments
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree. Combined experience/education as substitute for minimum educationMinimum Experience: 7 years Minimum Field of Expertise: Directly related accounting experience. Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and procedures. Ability to use a variety of accounting/financial software applications such as databases, spreadsheets, etc, as required. .
