The NYU College of Dentistry Department of Molecular Pathobiology is searching for a Part-Time Junior Research Scientist to work in the laboratory of Dr. Evgeny Pavlov. The ideal applicant should have the ability to work independently, design and conduct experiments, and the knowledge, skills, and ability to engage in collaborative research projects as part of the research team.
Prior experience in electrophysiological methods is desirable. Experience working with the tissue culture and molecular biology techniques is a definitive plus. The candidate must have the ability and motivation to work independently and to manage day-to-day running of a research project. Applicants should have great interpersonal skills, problem-solving skills in addition to a strong ability to communicate their science orally and in writing.
