Provide sports medicine services to all student-athletes including, but not limited to evaluation, diagnosis, management, treatment, rehabilitation and intervention of injuries and illness. Work closely with the Directors of Athletic Training Services, Head and Senior Athletic Trainers, Medical Director of Sports Medicine and team physicians, and Athletic Department and Department of Physical Education, Recreation and Dance personnel to ensure a safe and healthy environment is in place for the student-athletes. Provide sports medicine services for patients during clinic hours. Deliver medical care during practices, games and tournaments, as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainers and Directors of Athletic Training Services. Educate, supervise, mentor and evaluate undergraduate and graduate students and ensure an administratively effective medical unit.
Masters Degree required.
One to three years experience.
CPR qualified for the Professional Rescuer (or equivalent)and AED certified, BOC certified in good standing, and licensed by the state of Massachusetts or eligible.
Excellent written and oral communication.
