In the TMD, Orofacial Pain, and Dental Sleep Medicine Clinic the successful applicant will be involved in teaching, research, and patient care as part of their Dental Assistant duties. Chair side assisting
Seat patients (review basics of patient’s visit and history)
Turn over room
Maintain stock of supplies
Managed patient-related paperwork (referrals, imaging, prescriptions, clarification of patient requests)

Hourly pay rate ranges from $22.56 - $28.22/hour.
All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.
Graduation from an accredited dental assisting course
Certified as a dental assistant (DANB)
Current State of Minnesota Dental Assistant License
Must be able to multi task and adapt to changing work environment and work responsibilities
Demonstrated/documented knowledge of taking dental impressions
Successful experience providing dental care to a diverse patient population
Current CPR Certification
At least 2 years LDA experience
Experience with TMD and Orofacial Pain patients
Experience working within the School of Dentistry
Experience working in a multi-disciplinary clinic setting
