Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking Research Associate III for the Rutgers Center for Advancing Research & Evaluation for Patient-Centered Care at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The goal of the Rutgers Center for Advancing Research and Evaluation for Patient-Centered Care (CAREPCC) is to unite those whose mission is to improve patient outcomes and experiences, and to take root within the institutional structure as a means of continuous evaluation and learning within our healthcare organization. CAREPCC strives to better enable patients across health systems to make informed decisions and play a role in their own care.
Under the guidance of the Director and Executive Director, this position assists in the conduct of specialized behavioral and social science research and evaluation across multiple projects; participates in research activities within the Center.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
As directed, performs various behavioral and social science research and evaluation operations relative to ongoing investigatory activities of the Center including but not limited to conducting literature reviews; and collecting, managing, and analyzing data.
Prepares data for timely completion of all requirements of grant reporting including correspondence, progress reports, program evaluations, and other related reports.
Assists principal investigator(s) and research administrator with the preparation of articles and presentations.
Organizes, maintains, and updates website content.
Develops spreadsheets and databases to support project activities.
Maintains essential records and assists in the maintenance of all activity files.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in public health, social or behavioral science plus one (1) year of related research experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant science plus two (2) years of related research experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills including, with working knowledge of software packages including: EndNote; SPSS; Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word.
