The Division of Pediatric Pulmonology is currently recruiting a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to this nationally recognized research institution participating in many federally funded and industry sponsored clinical trials. The individual will serve as a leader in all aspects of conducting clinical research. The individual will assist the Principal Investigator(s) (PI)/investigating physician(s) with preparation of regulatory documents, planning, subject recruitment, enrollment, scheduling, and study conduct. The CRC will train and mentor health care personnel about protocols and ensure protocol adherence. Strong communication skills and demonstrated leadership are necessary. Knowledge and experience with FDA regulatory requirements is needed.
Experience with pediatric diseases is desirable. Flexible hours (day light, some evenings, and weekends) will be necessary. Bachelor's degree is required with five years of experience is required. Experience in coordinating clinical trials is necessary. Equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirement. This position is located at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in Lawrenceville. PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check will be required prior to the start of employment.
