Provide support to the faculty with student experiences in the nursing labs and simulation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain lab and simulation supplies working in conjunction with faculty and staff.
Maintain storage areas for the labs and simulation.
Prepare the labs for simulation experiences, including manikins and all materials needed simulation.
Assist with simulation experiences including equipment and computer management.
Participate in simulation teaching under the direction of simulation educator.
Maintain infection control practices for simulation lab
Clean up labs and simulation areas upon completion of learning experiences.
Secure storage areas and labs upon completion of labs.
Maintain and troubleshoot manikins and equipment in the labs.
Participates in post-simulation activities with simulation educator and students
Serve as a professional role model for students in dress, communication, behavior, problem solving, care delivery and patient advocacy to facilitate student's socialization into the profession.
Network with IT and other simulation technicians in the region/state/nation.
Conduct all activities with an appreciation and respect for diversity of people, styles, and views.
Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
SALARY: $37.00 per hour, non-benefited, MCCC position.

Associates Degree in Nursing or related Health profession required. BS in Nursing preferred.
Work or educational experience with simulation equipment, techniques and strategies.
Strong organizational skills; excellent communication skills, and be self-directed and able to multi-task.
Ability to work independently with creativity and flexibility in a fast paced environment.
Ability to work with various and changing technologies.
Ability to work with Microsoft Office programs- Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Simulation Software, Audio/Visual software, Network and IT environments and google suite.
Ability to work flexible schedule (early mornings and evenings may be required)
Ability to move high fidelity mannequins safely
Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations
Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment
RN licensure in Massachusetts, health care experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field.
