Goucher College's Financial Analyst position will analyze complex financial and management data for the purpose of forecasting and reporting financial performance and perform fiscal research within both the undergraduate program and Goucher's Center for Graduate Studies. The position will have a technology focus to interpret data and performance into relevant and communicable information to improve financial reporting and develop dashboards that will benefit the college. The incumbent will be responsible to having conversations with staff across the campus to develop budgets. In addition, they will prepare and monitor five-year capital and operating projections and provide analytic capacity and project management services in support of strategic initiatives and academic program opportunities.
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in business, public administration, public policy, economics, accounting, statistics, operations research or related fields from an accredited college or university. They should have well-developed analytical and critical thinking skills. They will also be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred candidates will have two years of experience in the analysis of budgets, management operations, higher education programs, statistics, economics or public policy. They will also have extensive experience in developing, preparing, documenting and maintaining financial models.
