Posting Summary: Reviews and implements fund accounting functions in order to reconcile and maintain expenditures and balance sheets of assigned accounts and grants. Prepares financial reports for funding agencies and all external sources, as requested. Assists Directors and others as related to reconciling/maintaining financial records with grants accounting. As assigned, assists in developing and administering policies and procedures governing contracts/grants, and allowable expenditures of funds. Prepares updates and identifies areas of effectiveness and weakness. Assists the Director with fiscal planning to meet federal/state regulations. Prepares cash receipts; distributes A/R and A/P ledgers and reviews grant proposals for accuracy and completeness. Assists with special projects as assigned.
