The graduate program in Diversity and Inclusion Leadership at Tufts University is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach a course in Organizational change, leadership & influence for the Spring 2021 semester. This course will need to be offered in an on-line format and outside of work day hours (after 4:30pm or weekends).
This course will explore the tools and concepts required for successfully leading strategic organizational change within the domain of diversity, equity and inclusion to foster inclusive climates. Ability/skills to assess the change needed, the political and complex process of introducing change, which includes motivating others, dealing with resistance and the emotional elements of change, and finally, extending change over time and sustaining it. Approaches and techniques needed to anticipate, measure and evaluate the changes needed, facilitate the change, and sustain the change will be considered.
A Masters or Doctorate degree in a field related toOrganizational Behavior, Organizational Development, and/or Leadership with university teaching experience or leadership in organizational change related to DEI efforts are preferred. Individuals with experience working or consulting with institutions around organizational structure and/or change will be given the highest priority.
