The University of Chicago's Department of Public Health Sciences, Institute for Population and Precision Health, is searching for a full-time associate professor who will support multiple major University initiatives including several large NIH-funded local and national research infrastructure programs. We seek a team scientist who will oversee and manage large research infrastructure projects and initiatives; recruit, train and supervise research staff; lead research focusing on innovation in research methods and approaches in these projects; help develop and implement courses on population health research; and otherwise stimulate population science discoveries that will enhance funding, publications, and career development of IPPH faculty and other members of our community. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications and relevant experience.
Qualified applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent in epidemiology or related fields and qualify for appointment as associate professor.
