Veterinary Assistant, Small Animal Clinical Sciences
The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to perform a variety of animal care functions in the Anesthesia service within the Small Animal Hospital to include animal restraint, cleaning, record keeping, equipment operation, and transport. Maintains inventory and unpacks supplies, placing items in appropriate areas. May also be required to assist in Surgery unit and measure and record daily vital signs of patients to include temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Depending on upon qualifications, applicant will be hired at either a level 1 or 2.
