The Department of Physician Assistant Studies in the School of Education and Health Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a non tenure-track position as Half-Time MSPAS Instructional Faculty in Pharmacology beginning July, 2021. A successful candidate will support and promote the goals and objectives of the MSPAS Program, support and promote the goals and objectives of the Program and the Physician Assistant Profession, support the development of program competencies and its evidence-based curriculum to meet current practice standards as they related to the role of the PA-C, serve as course director of Clinical Therapeutics I-IV, participate in mentoring, academic advisement, student assessment and remediation. The candidate must hold a terminal degree in a related field (PharmD, PhD, MD) and have experience teaching graduate students in this area, preferably physician assistant students. Rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students.
