Tufts University: School of Arts & Sciences: SMFA at Tufts
July 20, 2020
The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach an anatomical drawing class called Anatomy for Life Drawing for the Spring 2021 semester. The course may be taught virtually or on campus, or a combination of the two for spring 2021. This is a Continuing Education course that is also open for credit to Tufts undergraduates not working toward BFA degrees.
Candidates must have an MFA in a relevant area of studio art and teaching experience, preferably in anatomical drawing. Because of fluctuating teaching modalities due to the COVID 19 pandemic, we are unable to predict the modality for spring 2021, going forward. Due to the fluctuating nature of long-term scheduling, experience teaching both in a classroom and virtual format is desirable.
All applications are submitted via Interfolio, at apply.interfolio.com/77399 . Applications should include a CV, syllabi for relevant courses already taught, and, if available, teaching evaluations or other evidence of teaching skills. In addition, two confidential letters of reference must be submitted directly by their authors.
Review of applications will start immediately and continue until the position is filled. Please direct any questions to Janet Sartor at email@example.com.
