Earned doctorate from a CACREP accredited counseling program (ABD candidates will be considered, but must fulfill all degree requirements by August of 2021).
Licensed or licensed eligible (meets all state requirements) in Alabama
Teaching and supervision experience in clinical mental health counseling
Demonstrated track record of scholarly research (or the significant potential to establish such a record) commensurate with a research-intensive university.
Prior administrative experience in an outpatient counseling setting.
Extensive experience with crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention.
Experience establishing service contracts with community partners
Experience providing clinical supervision.
Knowledge of evidence-based practice.
Experience administering and interpreting clinical assessments.
Clinical experience with various presenting problems across a range of diagnoses and severities.
Clinical experience with a diverse range of clients across the lifespan.
Track record of interdisciplinary collaboration
