TheTechnical Facilitator– MD serves a key role in the HEALing Communities Study (HCS), a large, multi-site clinical trial funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) within the states of Ohio, KY, Mass and NY. The study will use community engaged methods to unite experts and community stakeholders to narrow service gaps with the goal of reducing opioid deaths by 40%. In Ohio, the study will be carried out across nineteen communities. The TechnicalFacilitator – MDwill be based in the community and will report to the Intervention Core Team at the University of Cincinnati.
TheTechnical Facilitator - MD will provide technical assistance within their community to ensure fidelity to chosen interventions.
Serve as the hands-on technical support person within the community for the chosen Intervention.
Acts as a liaison with the coalition members, clinical experts, and all other appropriate stakeholders.
Assists with training and education on relevant programs and initiatives within the community.
Participates in the ongoing evaluation of the relevant community Intervention, reporting to the community leaders and study team on progress, costs, as well as community feedback.
Collaborate with local leaders and study leaders to ensure community voices are at the table.
May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).

Must be a licensed MD with experience in emergency medicine and/or addiction services.
Must have a valid driver's license and transportation.
