1. Provide strategic advice, planning and change management for University wide capital renovation projects for scientific and research buildings and general facilities improvement projects in research spaces. 2. Lead project, programmatic, facilities and classroom planning to support long range and new interdisciplinary science and research initiatives. 3. Supervise analysis of scientific infrastructure that supports University wide research initiatives utilizing technology and strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. 4. Identify efficiencies and opportunities by incorporating information from all stakeholders to improve collaboration within the University's research enterprise. 5. Oversee and manage stakeholder engagement and faculty research groups related to campus wide science and research projects with considerations for renovation, procurement and associated research support services. 6. Participates in the development, implementation, interpretation, oversight and communication of academic research policies. Ensures consistent administration and application of academic research and administrative policies. 7. May perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Education: Ph.D. in a scientific discipline. Experience in an academic or research institution with direct interaction with faculty and administration. Experience in preparing grant proposals for federally (or other) funded research initiatives.
