Research Tech 2 will provide assistance on a self-digestion mediated antibiotic-tolerance mechanism in bacteria by using fluorescence-activated cell sorting, reporter plasmids, gene deletions, chemical inhibitor, metaboliomics technology, and methods developed to quantify persisters, viable but nonculturable cells, and cellular degradation rates.
Education: Master's degree in a basic science, bioengineering or equivalent.
