Postdoctoral Scholar/Bayesian Statistics and Computational Methods/Babak Shahbaba
The Statistics Department at UC Irvine has a full-time position available for a Postdoctoral Scholar. The position requires a Ph.D. degree in statistics or related field. The position entails performing research in the areas of Bayesian statistics and computational methods. In particular, the postdoc will assist Professor Babak Shahbaba to develop new data-driven mechanistic models for cellular population dynamics.
This is a full-time position that includes benefits. The initial appointment will be for one year starting no later than October 2020, with extensions for further years dependent on the availability of extramural funding. The salary for the position is $50,760. but is also contingent on knowledge and experience and dependent upon UCI funding.
