Support the fabrication and installation of electronic systems as required [30%]
Assist in maintaining consistent and accurate records and documentation of maintenance tasks, results and design processes, and generating electronic documentation including drawings [30%]
Assist in programming and testing Allen Bradley and Delta Controls BACnet PLCs and interfaces including human machine interface [20%]
Participate in performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and parts management for assigned equipment [20%]
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge normally acquired by completing a four-year college program in Systems or Computer Science; or Engineering or Physics, with coursework in Systems or Computer Science; up to one year of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in electronics, mechanical and/or electrical drafting and fabrication techniques, or computer programming in one or more languages used by the NSCL; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to work with export controlled materials.
Experience with fabrication techniques, and electronics, mechanical and electronic drafting (preferably Auto CAD) and computer systems
Experience with Allen Bradley and/or Delta Controls BACnet PLCs and related hardware
Experience with EPICS controls system
Ability to work with export-controlled information, items, materials and software
