Assistant Professor - Pediatrics- Gastroenterology, Memphis - 19000001R5
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Pediatrics, is accepting applications for Assistant Professor of Pediatric gastroenterology position.
This position is a non-tenure clinical professor of pediatric gastroenterology.
Duties include participation in clinics evaluating pediatric patients with gastrointestinal diseases, in rotation to cover the inpatient hospital service for patients with higher-level disease, and performing the required endoscopic procedures as necessary to evaluate these patients. The faculty member will participate in the training of the school's medical students, residents and the division's fellows. The faculty will also supervise the medical students, residents, and fellows assigned to their clinics and inpatient service.
Completion of medical school, pediatric residency, and pediatric gastroenterology fellowship. They should have a Tennessee medical license. They should have completed their general pediatric boards. They are eligible or have completed the pediatric gastroenterology sub-specialty boards
The faculty candidate should have completed a fellowship training program in pediatric gastroenterology.
The candidate for the current position is specifically being assessed for skills in medical informatics.
