The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, an NCAA DI/FCSand member of the Southern Conference is looking for an Assistant AthleticTrainer.
Primary Athletic Trainer for Women'sBasketball; Insurance Coordinator for student athletes; Works in conjunctionwith the Medical Director, Team Physicians and Director of Sports Medicine to providehealthcare for student-athletes; Maintains medical records in ElectronicMedical Records Injury Tracking System; Clinical Preceptor of GATEP students/undergraduateintern students; Assists with maintenance of department policies and proceduresas assigned by Director of Sports Medicine.

Strong communication(verbal and written) and organizational skills
Must be computer proficient

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree; certification by the National Athletic Trainer'sAssociation Board of Certification (NATABOC); active membership in the NationalAthletic Trainer's Association (NATA); First Aid and CPR certification; andState of Tennessee athletic training license or eligible for such. Must have avalid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications: Masters' degree in Athletic Training or related field; 1-2 years' experience as a certifiedathletic trainer at FCS Division 1 level; knowledge of Sportware computer-basedinjury tracking software; knowledge of nutrition, strength & condition, andconcussion protocols; commitment towards student-athlete welfare; commitmenttowards fiscal responsibility; and ability to provide strong leadership anddirection for assigned administrative area of responsibility.
