Position Summary: The Online Delivery Support Personnel provides daily technical support and other administrative duties for the Religious programs in Wurzweiler School of Social Work as well as Wurzweiler face-to-face fall start, summer start Block, hybrid program, doctoral, and Special Education programs.
Provide technical support to faculty as they teach online and live online classes. This help consists of log on help, monitoring classes in real time to problem solve technical glitches for faculty and students and working with faculty prior to the start of a class to resolve any technical issues
Provide technical support to students who struggle with technology during classes and prior to the start of each class
Monitor all orientations for technical issues and provides support to students and faculty who have connectivity issues
Monitor all Continuing Education Events for registration issues and log on issues. Monitor break out rooms during events and conferences
Administer technical support for Zoom and Canvas to faculty and students
Troubleshoot technical challenges for students and faculty
Assist program administrators with administrative duties as appropriate
Work with the Director of Online Education at WSSW and instructional designers to develop online classes as needed
Design new courses in Canvas as needed by faculty
Experience & Educational Background:
High School Diploma
Technical and problem-solving sophistication
Skills & Competencies:
Knowledge of Canvas, Teams and Customer Service
Experience with Instructional Design
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to learn new systems
Ability to trouble shoot and solve problems in real time
Ability to break complex technical issues into easily understandable language and directions
Ability to respond rapidly to evolving technical crises
