Position provides career and case management services to adults, dislocated workers, youth and employers.
Uses intensive case management to work with clients on a day-to-day basis.
Provide services to employers to locate, assess, interview and hire employees.
Maintain client records in VOS (Virtual One-Stop) information management system and other data formats such as case files according to WIOA policies and procedures.
Integrate provision of services to jobseekers, youth and employers with other providers of services that are located in the American Job Center or that provide services through referrals.
Supply information about approved training providers to individuals who qualify to receive individual training accounts.
Communicate effectively with other AJC staff, employers, partners, participants and the public.
Participate in the American Job Center Welcome Function.
Must be capable of working with the Department of Labor’s VOS management system.
Career Specialists will be responsible for providing career services to Northeast region counties.
Position is contingent on grant funding.
