Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Program Associate reports to the Associate Dean of Academic Partnerships, Assessment, and Accreditation. The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the work that falls under the Associate Dean.
Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Process criminal background checks and clearances for licensure.
Process verification of program completion.
Manage and work within electronic databases.
Scheduling meetings and prepare meeting materials and minutes.
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to field experiences, and licensure and accreditation.
Maintain budgets for Field Experiences, Public School Partnership, and others as needed.
Reserve motor pool cars for University Field Supervisors as needed.
Collaborate with other staff in the Dean's Office suite to assist with office coverage.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Working experience in multitasking, time management and organizational skills and high levels of accuracy.
Working experience of focusing and working under time constraints.
Familiarity and experience with creating and maintaining web pages and online documents.
Computer proficiency in various programs/applications including Excel, Microsoft Word, Appalachian’s Banner and Student Information System, AsULearn and other systems.
