Chancellor's Teaching Fellowships (Minority Professionals and/or Graduate Students)
This program was developed to provide Minority Professionals who hold master's degrees or Graduate Students still in graduate school (master's or doctoral students) the opportunity to gain collegiate teaching experience within the Virginia Community College System. The program matches working professionals or graduate students with part-time teaching assignments at a nearby community college. Minority Professionals or Graduate Students will share their experience, expertise and educational background with our students as regular classroom instructors. Support and colleagueship are provided by a full-time VCCS faculty mentor and the host college. Minority Professionals or Graduate Students are paid at the regular part-time adjunct professor rate for their service
